F1 Powerboat racing is highly competitive, where the boats travel an astonishing 220 kph on water and can go 0-100 kph in 3.5 seconds! Across South Africa, teams compete , regulated both by Power Boat South Africa (PSA) and Union International Motonautique (UIM). The races follow a circuit around a selected stretch of water (lake, river or a sheltered bay).

a world-wide audience – 261 million homes reaching 600 million viewers. – The
airtime value of one episode exceeds $3million –
The production is owned by Racing Communications cc whom supply the
finished production to the various broadcasters including; FOX Sports; SKY
Sports; STAR TV; GUANG YA (China); SUPERSPORT
In South Africa a 26 minute production of the races is broadcast 7-9
times on CSN; Supersport 1+2. A typical flighting schedule will be:

about” boats – Lucky Hadebe and Tim work there as mechanics – Tim's
