| In a move that seeks to provide a platform for its sponsored teams to prepare for the new soccer season, Old Mutual (South Africa) will host the Old Mutual Mangaung Cup – a football festival in Bloemfontein, which will take place at the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on Sunday, July 27, 2008. |

The savings and investment champion is the official financial solutions partner to Ajax Cape Town, Bloemfontein Celtic and Moroka Swallows. These three sponsored teams will be joined by reigning PSL champions, SuperSport United, to compete in the Old Mutual Mangaung Cup.
The tournament aims to provide Old Mutual’s sponsored teams with a competitive edge by giving them the opportunity to take part in a professional tournament a week before the official Premier Soccer League (PLS) 2008/09 season gets underway.
Joy Khaole, brand expression manager for Old Mutual comments: "We are extremely excited to be a part of this pre-season warm up challenge. This sponsorship fulfills our intent to support local football as well as complements our business and socio-economic development initiatives in this region."
According to Frank Brooks, Old Mutual’s sponsorship manager: "The aim of this tournament is to provide our sponsored teams with a platform to test the full strength of their new squads before the new season commences."
The first semi final will see Moroka Swallows locking horns with SuperSport United, which is expected to be a thrilling encounter as both sides have recently acquired new players. Home club Bloemfontein Celtic will slug it out with defending Old Mutual Mangaung Cup champions, Ajax Cape Town in the second semi final.
Popular Kwaito star, L’vovo, together with supporting act Masheleng, will entertain the crowds before the final. Additional entertainment will include skydivers and a 15-minute spectacular aerobatics display.
